What are the professional qualifications of the ZRZ

Professional qualifications in the VET sector open up new opportunities for acquiring knowledge, skills and competences that cannot or have not been acquired in regular education, as these are the subjects that are developed on the basis of innovations in technology and work processes and are indispensable for coping with work in a modern, development-oriented society.

Knowledge, skills and competences are rapidly becoming obsolete or emerging, given the rapid pace of development we are witnessing at the moment. New technology, the way we work, the demands of the market and, on the other hand, the desire for personal growth and advancement, require us to learn all the time. This learning does not only take place in an organised way in classrooms and schools, but also in an unorganised and unconscious way. We are learning all the time, and we are constantly learning new knowledge, skills and competences from our environment, which we then use to work and live better, faster, better quality and more effectively.

A professional qualification of the Knowledge Development Association (KDA) is the result of education and training or work experience and complements, deepens and broadens an individual’s knowledge, skills and abilities for life and work and is evidenced by a certificate.

A QRF qualification is recognised by employers and endorsed by the employing organisation as that combination of knowledge, skills and competences for a particular rounded set of work within an occupation or activity that is necessary from the employer’s perspective to achieve the required quality.

The certificate awarded to candidates after successful completion is not a national document and does not allow entry to higher education, but is a reference document that is in addition to a certificate, diploma or diploma, allows employment and continued work, and demonstrates lifelong learning and upgrading of skills, which is not only desirable but essential to be competitive in the labour market.
